Our luxury villa in Chania, called VERSACE is located on Almyrida village Apokoronas district to the east of Chania. Apokoronas is a region which extends to the northeastern part of the prefecture of Chania, by the foothills of the White Mountains to the north coast of Crete. It is characterized by the green hills and the fertile tracts of land, due to the abundance of water coming from the mountains as well as rivers which run through the region, before finding their way out to the sea.
The large, gently shelving, sandy bay that makes up the seaside resort of Almyrida was once a fishing village but is now a thriving seaside resort with a “blue flag” beach. Tavernas and bars line the sea front. There are a couple of mini-markets, a bakery, patisserie, a wine shop and newsagents. There is a windsurfing school, a scuba diving center and boat trips are available as well.
This Exclusive luxury villa in Chania was built entirely of white beige Cretan stone. The ground floor of the house includes a spacious living room with fireplace, a dining room and an open plan kitchen and bathroom. The floor in the living room is partly transparent, so you can see the swimming pool located on the basement floor.
On the first floor there are three large bedrooms with individual bathrooms in each bedroom.

Almyrida is located 23 km east of Chania, on the south shores of Souda Bay and 1km west of Plaka village. Almyrida was first inhabited by the Phoenicians, many centuries ago, and traces of their settlements can be seen on the hillside of Mavroharakas. Until recently it has been just a fishermen village of 50-100 residents. Due to its wonderful Mediterranean climate, its two clear, sandy beaches and its beautiful nature, the village has recently evolved into a tourist resort. Almyrida is now famous for its taverns’ fresh fish and local delicacies as well as its quality nightlife. The natural surroundings and neighbouring villages offer endless hours of trekking and exploring while there is always one or the other traditional celebration or festival with its local food, music and dances taking place. The most important archaeological sight of Almyrida is what remains of a three-aisled Basilica of the early Christian era (6th century AD), with its restored, extraordinary mosaic floors. On Finikias hill, right above the Basilica site, one can see the ruins of a greek-roman city. Greek-roman ruins are also found on the islet of Karga, just off Almyrida.
